Stade Rennais midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will not extend his contract with the French club and seems ready to leave this summer, with Manchester United as the most likely destination according to a report from transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
Last season, Camavinga was one of Real Madrid’s main targets in the market, but Los Blancos have apparently dropped their interest in the young midfielder after what has been a somewhat poor season from him, losing his spot in France’s squad list for the 2020 Euro.
Romano reported that Camavinga could leave Stade Rennais for around €30 million, given that his contract expires in 2022 and that he would be leaving as a free agent in just one year.
Madrid would’ve surely taken advantage of that opportunity a year ago but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, given that Los Blancos are not expecting to make any signings this summer unless Paris Saint-Germain decide to sell Kylian Mbappe.
