Italy and Spain face off for a spot in the UEFA Euro Final, which takes place next Sunday. The Italian side have been brilliant under Roberto Mancini, impressing fans and analysts alike with solid and convincing wins, although it’s true that they didn’t face strong opposition until the Quarterfinals match against Belgium.
Spain have had a fairly manageable bracket so far as well, but they needed an extra-time win against Croatia and a penalty shoot-out against Switzerland, so it’s not like they’ve shown great potential.
Still, this is a quality game between two young, rebuilding teams. Italy have veterans like Chiellini or Bonucci on their defensive line but have relied on young, up and coming players like Locatelli or Barella for their rebuild and it has paid off.
The winner of this Semifinal will face either England or Denmark in the game for the title, with Gareth Southgate’s team as the clear favorites to advance and play for the trophy.
Don’t miss the game!
