Cadiz have announced the signing of Real Madrid center-back Victor Chust on a loan deal which will expire at the end of the season. Cadiz won’t have an option to extend that deal or buy the player when the loan expires next summer.
OFICIAL | Acuerdo con el @realmadrid para la cesión de Víctor Chust.

¡Bienvenido a Cádiz, @ChustVictor!
This move means that Jesus Vallejo will almost certainly be Real Madrid’s fourth center-back behind Alaba, Militao and Nacho in the 2021-2022 season. Chust and Vallejo were the ones competing for that spot with Gila also in the mix, although the latter will now stay in Castilla.
Chust will have the chance to gain experience and confidence for Cadiz, although it’s not clear if he will be a regular starter for the Andalusian club, who have some veteran defenders on their roster already.
Cadiz will be expected to fight to avoid relegation, so their defenders will face immense pressure every single game. If Chust can earn his minutes and play consistently, this will be a valuable loan deal for him.
