Real Madrid have published their squad list for Sunday’s away match against Levante, the second of the 2021-2022 LaLiga season.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Toni Fuidias.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola and Miguel.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas V., Isco and Blanco.

Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Jović, Bale, Vini Jr. and Rodrygo.

As Ancelotti announced during his pre-match press conference, Dani Carvajal is back with the team. Given his extended absence, it’s likely that the coaching staff decides to play it safe and keep him on the bench until he’s 100% ready to start.

Apart from that, Luka Modric is out of this game, so Ancelotti will have to find a replacement for him in the midfield line. The coach confirmed that he’s been using Marco Asensio as a midfielder during the last few training sessions, so it would seem that Isco and Asensio are the two players competing for the starting spot alongside Valverde and Casemiro.
