Paris Saint-Germain have rejected Real Madrid’s €160 million offer for striker Kylian Mbappe, according to a report published on French newspaper L’Equipe. PSG were not expecting Madrid’s first offer to be as high as €160 million and would consider selling Mbappe for €200 million, per that same report.
However, while the French media keep reporting that PSG have rejected Madrid’s offer, reports from Spain are different. Both MARCA and El Chiringuito are currently reporting that Real Madrid haven’t received PSG’s reply, and club sources told Managing Madrid the same early this Wednesday.
Either way, it definitely looks like Real Madrid have proved Mbappe, PSG and the rest of the world that they want to sign the attacker this summer. Will PSG keep the player against his will this season only to see him leaving the club as a free agent in less than 12 months or will they take advantage of the situation and sell Mbappe while they still can?
Only six days until the transfer window closes.
