Juventus are interested in the signing of Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard on a loan deal, according to a report published on MARCA and then confirmed by Sky Sports Italy. Juventus are scouting the market looking for a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is set to leave the club before the end of the transfer window.

Real Madrid are keen on getting Hazard’s contract off their books, and while a loan isn’t the ideal scenario for them, it would give them more financial flexibility this year. Furthermore, Hazard’s departure would also free up a registration spot and the number 7 would be available for Kylian Mbappe, who seems to be on his way out of Paris.

Hazard signed for Real Madrid two years ago and has not stayed healthy ever since. The attacker never lived up to the transfer fee Los Blancos paid and it would be great news for Madrid to find an answer to this problem, even if it’s only temporary.

Right now, this is only a rumor and nothing is certain, but sending Hazard on loan makes a lot of sense for Real Madrid and it’s safe to assume that the club is trying to find him a new club, even if it’s just for this season.
