Real Madrid have published their squad list for Saturday's away match against Betis. Los Blancos will be without both Modric and Nacho, who haven't had time to recover from their small injuries and will miss the game.
REAL MADRID SQUAD LIST:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Luis López and Fuidias.
Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Vallejo and Miguel.
Midfielders: Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas V., Isco and Blanco.
Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Jović, Bale, Vini Jr. and Rodrygo.
Ancelotti has a few options to replace Nacho. First, he could deploy Alaba in the center of the defensive line and start Miguel on the left. That's the most likely option and also the most reliable one.
He could also start Jesús Vallejo in the center, although that could be risky in such a tough match as this one against Betis.
Isco, Casemiro and Valverde will likely start in the midfield. They completed a solid first half against Levante last week but will need to be better defensively if they want to score the three points.
More importantly, the players must focus on this game, something which might not be easy considering all the attention the Mbappe transfer saga has received lately.
