French striker Kylian Mbappe has requested Paris Saint-Germain to consider Real Madrid’s €170+10 million offer for his signing, according to a report published on AS. The French club had rejected this offer, per a report on MARCA.
Los Blancos have not given up on the possibility of signing Mbappe this summer even though PSG are reluctant to let him go. However, it’d seem that Madrid’s chances of landing the attacker before the deadline are smaller than they were a few days ago, when a deal appeared more likely.
President Florentino Perez is now negotiating directly with Qatar Emir and PSG owner Tamim bin Hamad Al Zani, so sporting director Leonardo and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will not make the final decision on whether or not the club will agree on selling Mbappe this summer.
Mbappe has arrived in Clairefontaine this Monday, where he joined the rest of the French national team for this FIFA break. There, he will wait and see if the two clubs can finally reach an agreement before the deadline.
