Real Madrid have to face Manchester City with a thinned out squad, missing new signing Méline Gerard and stalwarts Marta Cardona (meniscus injury), Kosovare Asllani (Covid), and Maite Oroz. Center-back Claudia Florentino is also unavailable.

These losses are pretty consequential for such a massive game, even if Madrid have reinforced well in the transfer window. It will be interesting to see how David Aznar copes without two of his most important attackers and his preferred metronome in midfield.
