Real Madrid has officially released their Adidas away kit for the coming 2021-22 season.
The kit features a navy blue color scheme with orange accents and trim and a white sponsor. This color scheme is similar to the already released home kit that the club will be wearing this season. The club crest found on the front of the shirt is monochrome while there are also three orange stripes on the shoulders.
The kit is reportedly inspired by the club’s third kit from the 1988-89 season, according to FootyHeadlines. The kit also features a graffiti design, both front and back, which is reportedly inspired by the art and culture of Madrid’s city center.
The subtle designs include arrows, crowns and “Madrid.” The back collar of the shirt features the club name stylized to the same graffiti pattern found throughout the design.
This is the second of three kits to be officially released by Adidas and Real Madrid. The third kit has not been revealed yet, but will reportedly also draw inspiration from Madrid’s city center. The 2021-22 away kit is on sale now.
