Victor Chust will join Cadiz on loan for a year, according to a report from MARCA.
There will be no option to buy included in the deal, as Real Madrid have faith in the Castilla captain. With the right development, the club feels Chust could be a future first team player. After his season with Cadiz ends, the club will decide if the center back is ready to make the leap to the first team.
Chust departure means Jesus Vallejo will return from his loan spell at Granada and become the 4th choice center back. There was rumored interest from Real Betis, but Madrid may be looking for a permanent departure for Vallejo rather than another loan spell. The 24-year-old has not impressed while away from Madrid and did not play well when shoe-horned as a right back in the Olympics. If a team does come swooping in for Vallejo on a permanent deal at the final hour of the transfer market, then Mario Gila will be promoted to the first team.
The center back position has been dealt a heavy blow this season with the loss of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane. The club has opted not to reinvest in that position, meaning Real Madrid are a couple injuries away from leaning deep into the depth chart.
