Terrible news for the attacker.

Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale has picked up a hamstring injury during Saturday’s training session and will miss Sunday’s home match against Celta Vigo. Bale will get tests on his hamstring injury on Monday and could also miss Madrid’s next few games.

Bale was coming off some impressive performances for the Welsh national team, including a hat-trick. His first few games with Madrid so far this season had been decent as well, but the main concern about him was always his health and his ability to stay healthy and avoid injuries.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti will have to find a replacement for him at the right-wing spot, with Rodrygo and Marco Asensio as the main candidates for the job. However, Ancelotti could also deploy Vinicius and Hazard on the wings with Benzema leading the offense, or even play Lucas Vazquez on the right wing in order to improve the team’s defensive stability.
