Just three days ago, Lucía Rodríguez was called up to replace Levante’s María de Alharilla in the Spanish National Team, giving Madrid seven representatives to go level with Barcelona. Unfortunately, her potential debut with the team has been cruelly thwarted by injury (presumably). Teresa Abelleira has also suffered a knock and now the same can be said of Olga Carmona, who asked to be subbed off in today’s match vs. Atlético Madrid, meaning that both have had to drop out as well.

Levante’s Alba Redondo is the other player who will no longer be featuring for Spain in this upcoming international break.

The good news (or bad, if you don’t want more players at risk of injuring themselves) is that Marta Corredera has been given a shot. She is joined by replacements Claudia Pina of Barcelona, Ainhoa Vicente of Athletic Bilbao, and Candela Andújar of Valencia.
Thus, the full squad list looks like this:

This leaves Real Madrid with only five representatives: Ivana Andrés, Misa Rodríguez, Athenea del Castillo, Esther González, and new addition Corredera.
Fingers crossed there are no more changes.
