Gareth Bale will miss the next two months with the hamstring injury he picked up in training this past week, according to a report from Cadena COPE’s Miguel Angel Diaz. No medical report has been published as Bale wants Real Madrid to keep his medical reports private, per that same report.
Bale had started the season completing some solid performances, but it’s now clear that his injury issues are not a thing of the past. This is the last year on his contract with Real Madrid, so it will be interesting to see how much he can actually contribute during the season.
In fact, Bale has probably just lost his starting spot on Real Madrid’s right wing, given that Ancelotti will need to find a replacement for an extended period of time. Rodrygo, Asensio, Hazard or even Valverde will be competing for that starting position during the next few weeks.
