Real Madrid vs Sheriff Tiraspol, 2021 Champions League: Predicted lineups

Real Madrid host Sheriff Tiraspol in what should be a fairly manageable game and a good opportunity for Los Blancos to make some rotations and bounce back from the disappointing 0-0 draw against Villarreal.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Nacho, Militao, Alaba, Miguel, Casemiro, Modric, Camavinga, Hazard, Asensio, Jovic.

Real Madrid’s starting lineup will be very hard to predict and will ultimately depend on Ancelotti’s willingness ro rest some of his veterans. Benzema, in particular, would benefit from starting on the bench tonight, but this is the Champions League and Ancelotti might want t start his best available XI to secure the three points and avoid surprises.

Kroos will likely play his first minutes of the season tonight, but he will come off the bench as he tries to improve his conditioning and form after recovering from the pubalgia he picked up during the summer.
