Real Madrid’s newest signing Eduardo Camavinga talked to the press right after France U21’s win 3-0 win, where he managed to score a goal from outside the box. The midfielder shared his feelings after becoming a Real Madrid player.
“My signing for Real Madrid happened so fast. I’m very happy and proud but I don’t want this announcement to change my work for the U21 team. I will keep giving my very best and of course I dream of playing for the French national team, but I want to go step by step. Now I will go to Rennes to prepare for the move to Madrid,” he said.
Camavinga also revealed that he has always wanted to play at the Bernabeu.
“Yes, I dreamed of it since I was a little kid. I want to discover the stadium, it must be impressive. I hope to take my first steps there as soon as the works and construction end,” he added.
He was also asked about playing alongside midfielders like Casemiro, Kroos or Modric. Camavinga proved he has a very mature mindset by saying that he wants to learn from his new teammates.
“They’re great players. Training and learning alongside them is going to be just great. I will try to learn and play as many minutes as I can, I’m looking forward to starting,” concluded the young midfielder.
