Real Madrid visit Sporting Braga in the third game of the 2023-24 Champions League Group Stage. Luka Modric is set to feature in the starting lineup having come off the bench against Sevilla last Saturday and Ancelotti could also make some changes in his defensive line.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Kepa, Vazquez, Nacho, Alaba, Garcia, Tchouameni, Modric, Camavinga, Bellingham, Vinicius, Joselu.

Sporting Braga predicted XI: Mattheus, Mendes, Fonte, Niakate, Borja, Al Musrati, Carvalho, Djalo, Bruma, Horta, Ruiz.

It will be hard for Ancelotti not to look ahead to Saturday’s El Clasico against Barcelona, so he will likely make some rotations here. Players like Vazquez, Nacho, Fran Garcia and Joselu could get a chance to start as Ancelotti makes sure that his whole roster stays fresh and ready for El Clasico.

Real Madrid have what it takes to beat Braga even with their second unit, so this should be a manageable game if Los Blancos play with intensity from the get go.
