A Win!

It wasn’t easy, but it’s 3 points. Real need one more point to be mathematically qualified to R16 and the next UCL match is Braga again, on 8th November, at Bernabéu.

Carlo was asked about Bellingham’s position on defense and if Barcelona will require more help from him. Carlo answered:

What we tried to do defensively in the last game was to put a line of 4 in the midfield. Bellingham sacrifices himself a lot for the team, works a lot in the left, so Vini can be fresher to try transitions or counters. I don’t know the distance Vini ran today, but he was very, very dangerous, also because in the first half the opponent line was very high and we forced passes in behind their line. We scored the first goal from that. Vini and Bellingham work well together. With the ball, Vini plays more wide and Bellingham goes more inside. We have to improve in that aspect, but they are doing well.

No training today.

The team stayed at Braga for the night and travel to Madrid today. Training returns tomorrow.

Carlo’s biggest failure?

Kiyan commented about Real Madrid long-term defensive issues. Once again, defending crosses into our box. Is this Carlo’s greatest failure since his return? It’s his third season and the problem persists in a way that it seems they don’t work on it. Tell us what you think in the comments section.
