Preview

Matchday 9 of Liga F brings us the big one. After facing Chelsea in a midweek Champions League game, Real Madrid face Barcelona for the first clasico of the season.

Blaugranas are sitting first on the standings, winning all 8 of their games, with Las Blancas just behind with 3 points less from the loss against Levante. Barcelona will have a major absence in their squad with Alexia Putellas unavailable. However, that is no reason to relax when this fixture put between to Champions League games, with four matches being played in 12 days, and it’s certainly a tricky situation trying to manage this calendar.

“It’s going to be a difficult, complicated game and against a great rival that will require maximum concentration, maximum performance in the physical aspect, we have to be very involved and take advantage of our talent and speed to try to hurt them,” speaks Alberto Toril for Real Madrid TV ahead of the game against Barcelona.

Squad List

Goalkeepers: Misa, Chavas.

Defenders: K. Robles, Rocío, Ivana, Olga, Oihane, Kathellen, Svava.

Midfielders: Teresa, Toletti, M. Oroz, Zornoza, Freja Siri, Olaya

Attackers: Bruun, Raso, Møller, Linda C., Feller, Athenea.

Full squad, excluding the ACL injuries, with Olaya who seems to be becoming a regular in the first team dynamics.
