Following Sunday’s Clásico defeat, Las Blancas got another hit to their season with 3 more injuries added onto the list.

The one that made fans very concerned is of Linda Caicedo who got swept in the attacking box by Cata Coll and couldn’t rely on her foot to walk off the pitch. The test carried out on her condition showed that she suffered an injury to the ligaments in her right ankle and will be out until January, if the recovery goes well. There’s a possibility of the Colombian winger missing a couple more weeks in January. The injury update on Caicedo was reported by José Luis Sánchez.

Throughout the match, there were moments with Sandie Toletti where she could be seen in pain. She finished the match, but it was later determined she fractured her humerus but that there’s no displacement, thus she doesn’t need a surgery. This type of injury of the upper arm is expected to last from 4 to 6 weeks but is expected to make a comeback in mid-December.

The injury report on Naomie Feller was sort of a surprise since there weren’t visible problems during the weekend’s game. Arancha Rodríguez only mentioned that the French attacker has gotten a discomfort giving an estimate that she’d also come back around the same time as Toletti.

We remind that Caroline Weir and Carla Camacho ruptured their ACLs and Real Madrid won’t be able to count on them for the rest of the season. The injury list grows higher when the schedule keeps getting more difficult with higher stakes involved with each passing match.
