Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham could need to have surgery on his injured shoulder “sooner or later,” according to a report published on The Athletic. The club and the player’s plan as things stand right now is to play through pain and keep protecting that shoulder, but sources on The Athletic’s report suggest that Bellingham will need to repair his dislocated shoulder down the road.

If the British player is able to play through that injury, it would make sense for him to get that surgery done in the off-season, although he will be busy playing for England in the upcoming UEFA Eurocup next summer.

Attacker Brahim Diaz also dislocated his shoulder this season and he plans to undergo surgery next summer if he doesn’t make Spain’s list to play in the Eurocup, but Bellingham’s presence in England’s squad would make things difficult for him to repair that injured shoulder until potentially the summer of 2025, assuming he doesn’t want to miss extended time after surgery.
