Real Madrid will face Arandina in the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey. Arandina are a Segunda RFEF team, which is essentially Spain’s fourth division behind La Liga, Segunda Division and Primera RFEF.
As always, it will be a single-elimination game played in Aranda de Duero, located close to Valladolid and just 168km away from Madrid. It will definitely be an intense game as for Arandina this will be the match of their lives. The size of the pitch will also be small and coach Carlo Ancelotti will likely make some rotations for that one.
The game will be played just a few days after Madrid’s home match against Mallorca, which will be the first of the year 2024. The Copa del Rey is always an interesting competition and Real Madrid will be defending the title they conquered last season, so Los Blancos will be motivated to do well.
