Former Real Madrid player Jesé Rodríguez has spoken highly of Endrick, the Brazilian wonderkid who is set to join the Spanish giants in 2024. Jesé, who last played for Coritiba in Brazil, also revealed his future plans and his desire to return to Europe.

Jesé was interviewed in the radio program “El Larguero”, where he talked about various topics, including his experience in Brazil, what’s next in his career, his relationship with Carlo Ancelotti, and more.

The 30-year-old forward, who was once considered one of the most promising talents of Real Madrid’s academy, praised Endrick, the 17-year-old sensation who just helped Palmeiras win the Brazilian Serie A in spectacular fashion. Jesé said that he has followed Endrick’s career closely and that he is impressed by his skills and maturity.

“I had to play against him and I saw him quite a few games,” Jese said of Endrick. “You’re going to be amazed when he comes, he’s very, very good. He has power, goals, dribbling, he likes to link up, he’s a very complete player... He’s very easy to like because he has a lot talent,”

Jese’s career has been full of twists and turns. Now that his contract with Coritiba is finished, he may be heading back to Spain — possibly back to his former team, Las Palmas.
