Real Madrid will find out their Copa del Rey Round-of-16 opponent later this evening, as the draw for the next round will take place at 6:30 pm.

15 of the final 16 teams have already been decided, and later today, the winner of the Unionistas vs Villarreal game (a match which had been suspended in extra time due to floodlight failure and will resume this afternoon) will tell us who the 16th team is.

Here are the teams, including Real Madrid, who have qualified for the next round and will be involved in today’s draw:

  • Alavés
  • Athletic Club
  • Atletico Madrid
  • Barcelona
  • Celta Vigo
  • Getafe
  • Girona
  • Mallorca
  • Osasuna
  • Rayo Vallcano
  • Real Madrid
  • Real Sociedad
  • Sevilla
  • Valencia
  • Tenerife
  • Unionistas / Villarreal

The rules for the Round-of-16 are the same as the previous round: The game will be played as a single elimination, on the field of the lower division team. If two teams from the same division are drawn against each other, then the game will be held at the stadium of the team who was drawn first.

The games will be played on the 16th, 17th and 18th of January.
