The latest rumors suggested that Isco could be on his way out to join Tottenham or even Malaga on loan, but the midfielder will finally stay and compete for a starting spot with Casemiro and James.

This will be a very long season for Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane will need every player to rotate the squad and keep his starting lineup fresh. It's also true that James Rodriguez, Isco and Marco Asensio will be on the bench when Madrid play big games, unless Casemiro, Luka Modric or Toni Kroos get injured.

Isco will possibly address his situation once again next winter. If he is happy with his role, he will stay, otherwise he could leave and play relevant minutes elsewhere.

The famous agent explains James' future.

With Real Madrid almost certainly going to stay put in the transfer market, James and Isco's future in the club remains the only mystery to be solved during this deadline day.

James Rodriguez's agent Jorge Mendes spoke to El Chiringuito last night and confirmed that the Colombian playmaker will stay with Real Madrid.

"James Rodriguez will stay with Real Madrid. He will stay, that's for sure," he said.

There were reports all summer long suggesting that James was set to leave the club as he is not a key player in Zidane's mind. Chelsea and Juventus appeared to have much interest in the midfielder, who will finally stay and fight for a spot in the starting XI.

Zidane has proven many times that Casemiro is an undisputed starter in this team, meaning that both Isco and James will not find the minutes they want very easily unless Toni Kroos or Luka Modric get injured.

Isco wants to stay but his family and agent are keen on a move away from the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid and Isco Alarcon have 24 hours to decide what will happen with the Spanish midfielder. It seemed that the transfer windows was going to close quietly, but Isco's inner circle wants to see him playing relevant minutes elsewhere and that could make him accept Tottenham's offer, given that Real Madrid will accept the player's decision.

Rumors suggested that Malaga are interested in Isco, but the Andalusian club doesn't have what it takes to sign him away from Madrid and the player himself would rather join a bigger club.

Either way, if Isco ends up leaving Madrid —something quite unlikely as things stand right now— it could be on a loan deal unless Tottenham decide to spend big on a permanent transfer.

It's also true that a loan could help Isco, who will most likely be on the bench most of the time. Isco could finally have a breakout season with the minutes he needs, so that's surely why the player is now considering a move away from the Bernabeu.
